The scanner is the heart of any document imaging system.  Make sure that the scanner you select is suited for the tasks required.  When calculating the job cycle, number of images per day, factor in the fact that unless you can stack large numbers of your documents in the scanner, you will not achieve the rated speed of the scanner.  Allow time for changing of documents, single sided vs. double sided pages, etc.  Compression boards i.e. Kofax, will provide greater efficiency and additional program features for many scanners.  Compression cards, SCSI cards & cables are usually not included with scanners.  Ask us and we will be happy to tell you the features and benefits of each system.
