Service Bureau - Option I
A service bureau provides complete document imaging services. We will pick up your documents, prepare them for scanning, scan them, index those documents, burn that information and those images onto a CD-ROM, deliver the documents and the CD-ROM back to the client and finally install that new information on to the clients computer system. We work with the clients to select the appropriate software application to most closely fits their needs. We provide training and maintain updates to the software. We can provide hardware support where needed. As a Service Bureau, PSG can provide complete document management services to our clients.
Backfile Conversion - Option II
If you choose to establish a digital document management team in your company and you have a large amount of paper documents already on hand, you may opt for this solution. Select a day to begin your in-house document capture program and then let PSG convert all of just some of the older documents to digital images which may be up-loaded to your DM system. This option is very practical because of the time, labor and capital expense required to do a proper backfile conversion. It must be done quickly or the DM system won't have a sufficient number of documents to make the transition effective. People need to be able to use the new system to retrieve document from the first day. If the majority of their files are still in paper form, they will lose their enthusiasm for DM. Backfile conversion is a cost effective and practical method of making the transition from paper to paperless really work.
Complete In-House DM - Option III
PSG can assist you in establishing a total in-house solution for your DM requirements. From the analysis of existing document handling to the selection process of an appropriate application. Additional hardware / software selection, testing, installation and training. PSG is ready to work with you during and after the process to insure a successful transition to solutions that is specific to your needs.
